1-Day Working Equitation Clinic with Julie Lamberton

We’re excited to welcome Julie Lamberton to Justin Stables for a 1-Day Working Equitation Clinic on Saturday, August 15th from 9am–5pm.

Working Equitation is a discipline in partnership, communication, and practical horsemanship—blending dressage foundations with obstacle work to develop softness, responsiveness, confidence, and harmony between horse and rider. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or already competing, this clinic offers a chance to deepen your understanding of the obstacles, refine your riding, and build confidence navigating a course together.

The day will focus primarily on the Ease of Handling phase, including obstacle execution, course navigation, rules, strategy, and improving precision and flow throughout the course. Riders newer to Working Equitation will gain a strong foundation and understanding of the sport, while more experienced riders will receive individualized coaching appropriate to their level.

Julie brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to teaching and works with a wide variety of horses and riders. She is a USAWE Professional Instructor, CHA Certified Master Instructor, and multiple-time regional champion in the sport.

This clinic is designed to be educational, encouraging, and fun—for both horse and rider.
